When you use Zynapt to communicate with your real estate leads, those individuals' information is processed on your behalf. You are the data controller; we are the data processor.
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring you have a lawful basis (such as TCPA consent) to communicate with each lead
- Honouring opt-out and do-not-contact requests promptly
- Providing your leads with appropriate privacy notices
- Complying with applicable data protection regulations in your jurisdiction

7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:
While we take security seriously, no system is completely secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specifically:
- Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days after cancellation
- Lead conversation data is retained for 12 months after each interaction unless you request earlier deletion
- Billing records are retained for 7 years for tax and audit purposes
- Anonymised, aggregated usage data may be retained indefinitely for product improvement
